Description Location: Sheridan, WY Duration: April 2024 – June 2024 Reason for coverage: Locums provider leaving Schedule: The current Hospitalist model is: 3 physicians & 1 APC in every 24-hour period Physician A on call 7A-1P (6-hour call, 12-hour shift) Physician B on call 1P-7P (6-hour call, 12-hour shift) Physician C on call 7P-7A (12-hour call, 12-hour night shift) APC works 10 hours/day, 7 days/week Call: Patient volume: Average 20-35 daily census; 5-7 admits give or take (split between 3 providers) Scope: Traditional Hospitalist coverage, rounding, admins including procedures. Provider will respond to codes, Vent management required. *There is also some flexibility around procedures depending on their experience; we have in house ED/Interventional Radiologists to assist EMR: Cerner Hospital: 88 Bed, Level 3 trauma facility. Group/support: Full support staff Requirements (boards, license): BC or Truly Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine with Wyoming Medical License or IMLC License. DEA and CSR are required.
