Required Skillset: 90% IR/10% DX IR Fellowship needed
The IR physician needs to be comfortable with arterial and venous interventions, including vascular access, pulmonary angiography, GI bleed embolization, uterine artery embolization, DVT/PE thrombectomy, and occasional fistulagrams. CT guided biopsy, abscess drain. Paracentesis/thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, chest tubes, cholecystostomy tubes, biliary drains etc.SMART provides malpractice coverage, travel, and accommodations for all locum assignments.
