This is a SWEET JOB! Robust Cardiac Surgery Group hiring an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant / nurse practitioner in Beautiful Mobile, AL!

Locum Opportunity, 4 months to begin starting first week in November! Paid Mal Practice, Housing, Rental Car/Mileage, Travel, and MUCH MORE!

The APP primarily will be working with cardiothoracic surgery patients (very few vascular patients).

Adult cardiac surgery cases including CABG, Valves/Structural Heart, TAVR, Mitraclip, Thoracic Vascular, Sternotomy and right thoracotomy approaches.

Adult general thoracic cases including Thoracotomies, VATS, Lobectomy/Pneumonectomy

predict eventually 300 cardiac cases and 100 thoracic cases

Endoscopic conduit harvest

First assist

Perioperative and post-operative care in the CVICU and Stepdown setting minimal clinic outpatient involvement

Ability to place chest tubes, central lines, monitoring line desirable but not required

Call coverage 1/3 depending on staffing available

Call coverage includes mostly inpatient, O.R., and few outpatient calls also.

Call is NOT expected to be in-house call
