Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Central Maryland (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking a qualified and board-eligible or certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment near Annapolis, MD. Position Overview:

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing


• End Date: Ongoing (initial assignment until October 10, 2024)


• Practice Setting: Outpatient (No inpatient duties required)


• Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


• Procedures: Urology-focused procedures requiring general/MAC anesthesia


• Patient Load: Approximately 8 patients per shift


• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only (No call, no weekends)


• Provider Count: One anesthesiologist per location


• EMR System: Cerner

Key Requirements:

• Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Maryland


• Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology


• Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)


• Privileges: Provider must be able to obtain temporary hospital/surgery center privileges quickly
