Locum Tenens Anesthesiology Physician

Location: Near Horizon City, TX
Dates: ASAP - Ongoing

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Anesthesiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Horizon City, TX. This position offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule in a level 2 trauma center. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient work, with a focus on CRNA supervision and some solo cases. Position Overview:

• Position Type: Locum Tenens


• Start Date: ASAP


• End Date: April 1, 2025 (with potential for extension)


• Full-Time Hours: Minimum of 2 continuous weeks per month


• Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient


• Call Requirements: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise CRNAs in both outpatient and inpatient settings, handling a variety of cases


• Perform some solo anesthesiology cases


• Provide proficiency in regional anesthesia


• No cardiac cases involved


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Required (Board-eligible also considered)


• Fellowship: Preferred but not required


• License: Must hold an active Texas medical license
