Description Position Details – APP Urgent Care: • Location: Shreveport, Louisiana • Duration: late January 2025 – June 2025 (potential to extend) • Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week • Shift: Clinic is open 7a-7p Monday-Friday and 9a-5p Saturday and Sunday. Shifts to be coordinated based on provider’s availability and department needs. • Patient volume: 65-75 patients per 12-hour day per provier • Scope: All ages urgent care – PALS, suture, I&D, splint, read EKG’s, read x-rays with oversite, toe nail removals, fish hook removal, eye exams with woods lamp, ring removal, some vaginal exams. • EMR: Epic • Group/support: 2 APPs staffed with 5 exam rooms per shift, support staff includes 1 registration clerk, 3 Mas, 1 MA/Rad Tech.
