Locums, Inc. has a Primary Care practice in the Macon, GA area who is seeking a full-time locums Primary Care Physician for two months coverage. Physician will be treating Diabetes, Colds/Flu, COPD, Asthma/Sinus, Drug screens, Immunizations/Vaccines, Sutures, Physicals, and Pain Management. Lodging and car rental is available to out-of-area providers. You will receive:
· Hourly Compensation
· Malpractice coverage at 1mil/3mil Duration:
· ASAP to about 5/6/22 Hours:
· M-Th, 8am to 5pm, Fridays 8am to 2pm; Lunch is 12pm-1pm Particulars:
· EMR charting used (eClinicalWorks)
· 3-4 patients seen per hour
· Fast-paced, smaller office
· No On-call hours
· Roughly 75% Insured and 25% Medicare payor mix
· Clinic located in downtown Macon, GA
· Roughly 10% of patients are pain management; patients are urine screened and PDMP file is updated to prevent drug shopping
· Medical Assistants on staff
Requirements:
· Active and Unrestricted Georgia Physician license (mandatory)
· Valid and unrestricted DEA License (mandatory)
· Must be comfortable being the only provider on-site during hours
