This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, allowing you to apply your skills in various settings while exploring the beautiful Lake Lure area in North Carolina.

Key Details:

• Specialties Needed: Cardiovascular Surgery – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant


• Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient environments


• Privileges: Required to work in OR, perform rounding, and manage ICU patients


• Location Highlights: Near Lake Lure, NC, surrounded by scenic mountains and outdoor recreation

Schedule & Duties:

• Start Date: Immediate, with an ongoing commitment


• Weekend Coverage:
  
  
  
  • Average of two weekends per month (Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM)
  
  
  • Includes 8 onsite hours per day, with first-call responsibilities
  
  
  
  


• Holidays: Coverage needed on select holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: Board Eligible or Certified


• Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS


• License: Must be licensed in North Carolina


• Credentialing: Expected to be fully credentialed within 60-90 days; candidates with a clean background and ready documentation preferred

Additional Information:

• EMR Systems: Cerner and Athena


• Support: Working independently without the need for resident or teaching supervision


• Trauma & Pediatric Level: Trauma Level II and Pediatric Level III facility
