Position Overview:

  • Scheduled coverage with no on-call requirements

Work Details:

  • Work in a hospital setting with 11 ORs in the main operating room and 2 in the ambulatory center
  
  
  • Daily case load includes a mix of ortho, ortho trauma, general, general trauma, spine, neuro, cath lab, ambulatory, and endoscopy
  
  
  • Average of 50-60 cases per day
  
  
  • Hospital bed size: 317
  
  
  • CRNAs will be involved in a variety of procedures, requiring recent hospital experience
  
  
  
  


• Department Description:
  
  
  
  • The department includes multiple specialties, such as orthopedics, trauma, general surgery, and more
  
  
  • The CRNA will be part of a collaborative anesthesia care team
  
  
  • Use of Cerner and SaAnesthesia for EMR and charting
  
  
  
  


• Interview Process:
  
  
  
  • Candidates will be interviewed by phone with the supervising anesthesiologist
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Board Certification: CRNA (NBCRNA required)


• Licensure: Active Arizona license required


• Certifications:
  
  
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
  
  
  
  


• DEA: Active DEA license required


• Experience:
  
  
  
  • Recent hospital experience is a must
  
  
  • Experience with Cerner is preferred
