Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Breast Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage from July 2024 through December 2024, with the possibility of extension. This opportunity entails working in both office-clinic and hospital settings, delivering high-quality breast surgery services to adult and geriatric patients.

Job Details:

• Reason for Coverage: Previous provider departure


• Practice Setting: Office-clinic and hospital


• Call Schedule: To be determined


• Trauma Level/Designation: No designation at this time


• Documentation System/EMR: Epic


• Number of Operating Rooms: 28 across two hospitals


• Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 9


• Patient Age Demographic: Adult, geriatric

Required Procedures:

• General Surgical Cases ADULT


• Breast Surgery


• Cholecystectomy


• Hernioplasty

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Board certification in General Surgery is required.


• BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.


• State License: Active South Carolina license and DEA registration are required.


• Clean Background: A clean background check (medical & criminal) is necessary.


• Breast Surgery Fellowship: Highly preferred; must have extensive training in breast surgery.
