Join Our Urgent Care Team in Munster, IN

Are you a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine looking for a rewarding opportunity in Urgent Care? Join our team located near Westville, IN, and be part of a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

What We Need:

We are seeking a passionate Urgent Care Physician with Board Eligibility or Certification in Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine. Preference will be given to candidates with recent Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience. The ideal candidate should hold ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications or be willing to obtain them. Comfort with treating patients of all ages is crucial, with an expected volume of approximately 30 patients per day.

Ideal Candidate Proficiency:

• Reading basic x-rays for all body parts


• Laceration repair and wound care


• Initial ECG interpretation


• Interpreting test results


• Urgent evaluation and treatment of potentially critically ill patients, with appropriate transport to the nearest Emergency Department

What You Can Expect:

• Open 363 days a year, ensuring consistent and accessible patient care


• Scheduled hours: 35 hours per week


• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Saturday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.


• Holiday hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.


• 7 shifts per pay period, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and 10-hour weekend shifts


• No call expectation, providing a balanced work-life schedule


• Average outpatient volume: 30 – 35 patients per shift

On-Site Equipment:

• EKG


• Point of Care Testing (POCT)


• Hospital Radiation Department


• CT Department

Common Diagnoses:

• Abdominal pain


• Flu


• Musculoskeletal pain/injury


• Shortness of breath


• Upper respiratory infection


• Urinary tract infection
