Details of Assignment:

Location: 45 mins from Fresno, 1 hour from Bakersfield

Duration: January 15 – March 31 (potential for extension)

Schedule: Flexible based on provider availability.

Priority Shifts: Weekend calls from Friday, 5 PM – Monday, 7 AM.

Shift Details:
Weekdays (Monday – Friday): 5 PM – 8 AM
Weekends (Saturday – Sunday): 8 AM – 8 AM

Call Details: Call will be taken from a hotel.

Scope of Practice: Covering call exclusively for the group’s deliveries (vaginal and C-section). 850 deliveries last year – this is total volume including the midwife (212.) No unassigned ER call or emergency GYN surgeries at this time.

EMR : Cerner

Hospital Details: Level III trauma center

Group Composition: 3 OBGYNs, 1 Midwife

Support: In-house MDA/CRNA support available 24/7. OB laborist group available for unassigned patients and back-up emergency C-sections.

Requirements: Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN. Active California medical license at the time of application.
