Locum Critical Care Medicine Job in Pennsylvania

 

Seeking Pulmonary-Critical Care physicians for long-term locum coverage near Indiana, PA.



Job Details:


      
  • Coverage Date: Apr. 25, 2022 - May 2, 2022

    •   
  • EMR System: Epic

    •   
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

    •   
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient

    •   
  • Other Details:

        
    • Will cover Medical Critical Care unit

      •   
    • Admit approx. 130 patients per month – 10-20 patients per day (14-15 Summer – 18-20 winter)

      •   
    • 24-hour resident coverage, residents take the first call

      •   
    • Make rounds on patients in AM with Residents then on-call for the remainder of the 24 hours

      •   
    • Admissions from Emergency Room 3-4 per day

      •   
    • High acuity patients, cardiac and sepsis

      •   
    • Placement of arterial lines

      •   
    • Sedation: Deep, Conscious

      •   
    • Cardio-version

      •   
    • Post OP cardiac surgical management

      •   
    • ACLS required
