URGENT CARE NURSE PRACTITIONER & PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose and treat all common urgent care cases for patients of all ages.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per approved standards.
  • Educate patients and families on follow-up care.
  • Treat patients and their families with utmost respect, safety, and dignity.


COMPENSATION, SCHEDULING, AND GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES FOR URGENT CARE FNPs & PAs:

  • Starting hourly rate up to $82 per hour.
  • Daily $30 per-patient volume incentive earn for each patient treated above established threshold.
  • Work fulltime only three days per week!
  • Automatic 2-hours of penalty at 2X hourly rate for solo-shifts!
  • Opportunities for overtime, if desired.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONERS (FNP) AND PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS (PA):

  • Minimum of 1-year of NP/PA clinical practice experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting. (Sorry, we are unable to consider candidates who do not meet this minimum.)
  • Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Degree (NPs), and AANP or ANCC Board Certification
  • Master of Physician Assistant Studies (PAs) and NCCPA Board Certification
  • California NP or PA Licensure
  • California Furnishing License (NPs only)
  • California-issued DEA license.
  • Proficient at IV access for blood draw and administering drugs.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
