We are working with McLaren Central Michigan Hospital, a Level IV Trauma Center in Mt. Pleasant, MI, they are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians coverage starting in March. Job Details:
Dates Needed:
•  March – May (Various Shifts Available)

Shift Times:
•  Day Shifts: 8 AM – 8 PM
•  Night Shifts: 8 PM – 8 AM

Immediate Openings:
•  March 2-4 (8 PM – 8 AM)
•  March 3 (8 AM – 8 PM)
•  March 15-16 (8 PM – 8 AM)
•  March 22-23 (8 AM – 8 PM)
•  March 25 (8 PM – 8 AM)
•  Additional April-May dates TBD

Facility Highlights:
•  Annual ED Volume: 20,000 visits
•  Emergency Room Beds: 18
•  Average Patients Per Day: 54
•  High Admission Rate: 90% of hospital admissions come from the ED
•  Daily Transfers: 2% of ED patients transferred
•  No Fast Track system

Team & Support:
•  Code Blue Coverage:
•  ER physicians provide airway support
•  Hospitalists respond and run codes
•  Anesthesia available for backup during the day
•  Hospitalists handle all admission orders

Specialty Backup Available:
•  Anesthesia
•  Orthopedics
•  Cardiology
•  Pathology
•  Radiology
  
EMR:
•  Cerner

Requirements:
•  Licensing & Certifications:
•  Active MI License and DEA (No IMLC)
•  BLS, ACLS, PALS
•  ATLS (if not ABEM certified)
•  Expedited Privileging Available: Must have a clean record for fast onboarding
