Requirements:

State License: South Dakota license (8-10 weeks for processing with a clean background)

Certifications: ACLS and ATLS

Experience: Experience in emergency medicine and hospital medicine is preferred.

In this Role:

This role involves working full-time in a facility located in Potter County, SD. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will manage both emergency and hospital medicine patients independently, with an average of 2-3 inpatients per day and approximately 1.7 ER patients per day, reflecting a low patient volume. The provider will work 24-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with call coverage required from 8am Friday to 8am Monday. During on-call hours, the provider must be able to respond within 20 minutes but does not need to remain onsite. Support is available from APPs at the clinic, and the Medical Director visits the hospital once a week.
