Description Locums, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Child Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a long-term contract placement with the Dallas, TX school district. Texas state NP license and Board certification needed. About the Opportunity: - Period of Performance is approx. 6/1/20 to 4/30/25 - Annual Salary increases - Patients are to be seen at the Dallas Youth and Family Centers (YFC) across the metro Dallas area - Hours will be approx. 6 per week – scheduling to be negotiated with YFC - Patients are primarily intellectually and developmentally challenged adolescents and adults - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner duties to include evaluation, re-evaluations, follow-up visits, medication management, service referrals, and consultation with child’s family and YFC and treatment for full range of Psychiatric disorders. Will be responsible for prescribing medications and completing appropriate paperwork - Paid Malpractice insurance Requirements: - Active and unrestricted Texas state license - ANCC Certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse - Has completed an AACN-approved program - Active DEA registration * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
