FM Residency Program

Join a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists & 2 NP’s.

Highlights

• Ten 12-hour shifts every 15 days: 5-daytime shifts, followed by 5-night shifts, then 5 days off.


• Responsible for rounding on pediatric inpatients & newborns


• Procedures: Neonatal Resuscitation, Lumbar Puncture, Circumcision (preferred), Emergency Needle Thoracentesis, Umbilical Lines


• Level II NICU. 2-4 patient average


• Pediatric Unit. 1-3 patients average. 4-6 average during busy season.


• Emergency Room Consults. 3-5 per week


• Average births per year approximately 1,300
