Description Responsibilities: • Perform psychiatric evaluations • Diagnose mental, developmental, and substance use conditions consistent with DSM-5 criteria • Implement treatment strategies consistent with the diagnosed condition • Prescribe psychotropic medication consistent with accepted standards of care • Prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment consistent with accepted standards of care • Document services rendered in the electronic medical record either through typing or dictation services • Perform peer reviews on a quarterly basis Skills Qualifications: • Active Illinois medical license – M.D. or D.O. • Board eligible in psychiatry • Active DEA - X waiver or willingness to obtain • 2-years of adult psychiatry experience required, with some addiction medicine experience preferred • Covid-19 vaccination required Hours: Part-time, 16 hours negotiable and flexible Notes Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization.
