Description A 25-year family practice whose collaborating/supervising physician is retiring and we need a physician to make a once per month visit to review charts as required by Tennessee law. Only one full time nurse practitioner (doctorally prepared at Vanderbilt and UT Memphis) with 25-year practice history and who has chosen NOT to write controlled meds. Another NP will work 2-3 days per month to see those few patients with controlled drug needs such as ADD and established patients. Not taking new patients. Very established group in Jackson, TN. This is only 45 min from Memphis. A Vanderbilt affiliate office and financial compensation is competitive. Skills Doctor of Medicine degree required which is unencumbered and possesses their own liability policy through SVMIC or another recognized liability carrier. Boarded or Board eligible in family practice or internal med.
