Description Fast paced urgent care and family practice seeking full time Family Nurse Practitioner Vancouver Washington Description * Obtain medical history and physical data from patients * Perform comprehensive exams of all ages including wellness exams * Acute and chronic disease management * Request appropriate diagnostic testing * Prescribe medications and treatments for illnesses * Accurately code and document in the electronic health record in a timely manner Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program. * Holds or is able to obtain an unrestricted license as an APN in the State * Certification: Member in good standing with the Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) * 2 years experience preferably in a primary care setting * Previous experience working with EMR/EHR software and meaningful use requirements * Eligible to participate in the Medicare or Medicaid programs * Current non-limited registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) * Be and remain insurable for malpractice liability in accordance with the requirement of Statutes * Current CPR/BLS certification Benefits include: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, Life and AD&D insurance, EAP, Costco membership, EAP, employee paid supplemental policies, flexible spending plan, paid Holidays and generous PTO policy
