Description
Catapult Healthcare is currently assisting a facility in Bismarck, ND that has an ongoing need for a locum tenens Psychiatrist beginning in mid-August. Below, please find details of the open position:Facility Description: Hospital Bed Size - 200+
Psych Bed Size - 16
Seclusion Rooms - 2
Providers in Service - 2 physicians in group; 3 advanced practitioners; 6 psychologists
Worksite Resources - Lab on-site; 3 full-time RNs in Clinic
Position Description:
Start Date - August 21st & ongoing
Schedule - 8a-5p, Mon-Fri (inpatient)
Call Obligation - Weekend call 1:3 (No ER call) - Rounding on Pediatric patients required
Average patients/day - 6-12
Daily coverage - 1-2 psychiatrists/day
EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation
Requirements:
Board Certification (will accept Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency)
Clinical Experience - Anxiety, Affective, ADD/ADHD, Personality, Eating, Developmental, Psychotic, and Organic disorders
Required Skills - Involuntary Commitments, Restraint Application, Pharmacotherapy
Preferred Skills - Seclusion Therapy
Willing to license for ongoing coverage (6-10 week process for ND license)
