Description Locum Tenens | Interventional Cardiology | Georgia • Location: Georgia • Duration: ASAP-Ongoing • Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month • Shift: Hospital coverage 7a-5p, Clinic coverage 8a-5p (Round in the morning before clinic) • Call: 1-2 weeknights per month and 1 weekend per month • Patient volume: 20-24 (Mix of clinic/hospital patients) • Scope: Mix of Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology - ambulatory clinic, hospital, and call coverage. Strong preference for someone open to reading non-invasive studies as well. No APP supervision required. • Required Procedures: Performs cardiac diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, IABPs, Impella insertions, rounding in hospital on general and interventional service, and sees patients in the ambulatory clinic. • EMR: EPIC • Hospital: Level IV Trauma • Group/support: 2 APPs in hospital for rounds/consults/new patients/ ER patients. 1.5 APP in office to see hospital follow ups and established patients. • Requirements (boards, license): GA or IMLC licensed, Board Certified, Clean Background.
