Description Coverage Need ASAP - Ongoing Schedule Sunday - Sunday Inpatient GI Sun-Sun 6a-6a call 24hr Weekend Call Rounding + Consults + Procedures Clinical Details Provider will not work solo Typical Day Inpatient:Provider Will Cover Hospital Inpatients, Consults, and Procedures From About 8a - 430p | If Finished Early Can Leave as Long as Within 30 Min Response Time Will Consider a General Surgeon for Gastro Procedures | No Clinic | No After Hour Call | Procedures - Colonoscopies and/or Endoscopies | AVG Cases - 18 - 20 Most Common Emergencies:Food impaction and GI bleed are most common emergencies The Provider Will Work Mon - Fri | 2 Days Procedures and 3 Days Clinic Clinic Volume: 10-15 patients per day Procedure Volume: 10-12 procedures per day Provider will Rotate Between Clinic and Procedures, Potentially a Higher Volume of Procedure Time v. Clinic Hospitalist Covers Inpatient Besides On-Call Provider AVG Census: 75% new patients, 25% Follow Ups in Clinic for Appointments Requirements Active Maryland License or provider with IMLC in hand Must have/be Willing to Obtain Maryland CDS (Controlled and Dangerous Substance) Board Status:Board Certified, Board Eligible 5YearsMinimum Experience No ERCP, No EUS Experience Necessary EMR eClinicalworks Meditech Additional Info Credentialing timeframe: 6 - 8 weeks Full and Temp Only | Disaster PrivilegesARE NOT AVAILABLE * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
