Description Job Description: The attending psychiatrist will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care to Veteran patients in a federal medical center setting. This role includes diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for a broad range of mental health conditions. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in consultations and treatment planning. Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations Provide psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy Perform medication evaluations and management Complete physical assessments as needed Conduct inpatient rounds Provide outpatient psychiatric diagnosis and treatment Offer behavioral therapy support Participate in consultations and occasional commitment hearings Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience Current BLS certification No history of license revocation, suspension, or voluntary surrender
