Description


  • Coverage Needed

    • June 15, 2023 " September 30, 2023


  • Schedule

    • Day Shift: 7:30am - 6pm
    • Night Shift: 6pm - 7:30am


  • Clinical Details

    • 24 Beds in PICU

      • Typically 16 in use


    • 2-3 Admissions Per Day
    • 8-18 ICU Patients Per Day
    • Level II Trauma
    • Co-manage all patients in the PICU including trauma, burns, surgery, CT-surgery, ETC. etc.
    • Procedures: intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, chest tube placement, ECMO
    • Mixed PICU with cardiac, trauma, burn (few), BMT, neuro/neurosurg, Heme/Onc and general peds type patients


  • Requirements

    • Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care
    • BLS and PALS
    • Fellowship Required
    • Active AZ license or IMLC LOQ in hand


  • Support Staff

    • Peds ED Team


  • EMR

    • Cerner
