Join a 450 member multispecialty group with 9 residency programs and 70 Psychiatrists on staff adding 2 Inpatient Psychiatrists due to growth in a Psychiatric Hospital.

Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry residency training programs.  Attendings have faculty appointments.

~400 Psychiatry beds; also staff an ECT service, C/L service, SMI clinic, two First Episode Centers, 2 A C T clinics, and provide integrated BH services across the network of primary care clinics.

• Academic Inpatient General Psychiatry


• Caseload is 9-10 patients (cap of 10 patients), with an average length of stay of 21 days; most patients are involuntary. 11 beds.


• Psychiatrists and therapists work together to provide quality, patient centered care in a team environment.


• Must be comfortable working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and using EMR.

• Monday - Friday


• 8 AM - 5 PM

  • Weekend rounding is handled by moonlighters. 
  
  
  • Moonlighting residents handle admission orders and other night-time and weekend telephone coverage.
  
  
  • Attendings are assigned as backup if the resident has questions, but they rarely do.
  
  
  
  

Benefits:

• Base 255k (will increase in 2026)
  
  
  
  • Variable pay for doing the minimum required affidavits for court of 2-3/week adds ~15K / year (Attendings can sign up to do more if they want to)
  
  
  • Weekend moonlighting – doing 1 weekend / month adds about 60K / year
