Description The Department of Emergency Medicine in this College of Medicine at a Southeastern Medical School is seeking Emergency Medicine faculty to work entirely/predominantly in the Main Hospital. *The position ranks at the rank of Assistant Professor. *Qualified candidates should be certified in Emergency Medicine and have experience providing care in a Level I Trauma Hospital. The University’s Hospital Emergency Medicine Department has interns/resident rotators, NP/PA students, with a new Residency in Emergency Medicine, which recently started in 2019. The beautiful, historic coastal city is a growing, family-friendly city with a vibrant downtown. It is centrally located in the Gulf Coast with a temperate climate and low cost of living. There are many cultural and outdoor activities with proximity to river and sandy beaches.
