Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – Serve Those Who Served UsWe’re seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners to help make a meaningful impact in the lives of our Veterans in Lufkin, TX. Position Details: Hourly Rate: $62.50
Location: Lufkin, TX
Credentialing: Approx. 4 weeks
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
No weekends, no call, no holidays
Position Overview:
In this non-treatment, in-person role, you’ll serve as a General Medical Examiner, performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for Veterans.
Key responsibilities include: Reviewing medical histories
Conducting one-time disability assessments
Submitting evaluations via a secure, web-based system to the Department of Veterans Affairs
No prescribing or ongoing care involved
What You Can Expect: Average 3–5 Veterans per day
