Description --Locum Anesthesiology opening for 2022 in Montana --Hospital is looking for anesthesiologists who are available for 6 or more weeks during the year for coverage --Full and part-time options available including block schedule --100% own cases, CRNAs and physicians function completely independently --CRNAs are not in main OR but are in ancillary areas M-F mix of 8 hr shifts in main OR ASC cath lab and endoscopy, 10 hr shifts in endoscopy (7-5) --Must be comfortable with healthy pediatrics, trauma (typically blunt force), ortho blocks of all kinds --Main OR takes care of everything but burns and organ transplants so all cases - 3 neurosurgeons in town, OB, Urology, Onc, Gen Surg, etc. --We do have a separate anesthesia heart team, so no cardiac work available --CRNAs do OB, so no OB Likely no call (nights or weekends) --Lots of ortho, ENT, plastics, urology, eyes, in ASC OR led by Anesthesia medical director who is also director of surgical services --Good support staff --Solid anesthesia team with very low turnover --Level II Trauma Center - regional receiving center, 5-6 transports in a day via helicopter and medical jet --With MT license - can start in 45-60 days with clean file --Without MT license can start 45-60 days after licensure is received * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
