Description Seeking a BC Psychiatry Residency Program Director. Fully accredited with Continued Accreditation and no outstanding citations Outpatient general and subspecialty clinics. Consult Liaison and emergency psychiatry in-house. Hospital staffed 24/7 with Hospitalists and Intensivists Program Director Responsibilities will include: - Participate in the supervision of residents by teaching faculty with defined profession of resident responsibility. - Administering and maintaining an educational environment conducive to educating the residents in each of the ACGME competency areas. - Overseeing and ensuring the quality of didactic and clinical education in all sites. - Familiarity with and comply with ACGME training and reporting requirements. - Participate in academic societies and in educational programs designed to enhance educational and administrative skills. - Provide general consultation in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - .5 Academic and .5 Clinical.
