Description Medical Center seeking a Locum Hospitalist --Day Shift Rounding Coverage needed: - December 29 – January 3 --40 FTE group with 18 Hospitalists on shift during the days, 0800 – 2000 --Average 15-20 encounters per shift with target of 17 --Typical day: start with a census of 16 and receive 1-2 additional patients throughout the day in the form of a consultation, admission or transfer; no additional assignments after 1800 --Dedicated admitter (“Swing”) starting daily at 1300 --Patient assignments are largely based on geography, although continuity is also considered for patients moving from one level of care to another or laterally --No procedures --Expected to respond to a Code Blue on an assigned patient but not a designated member of the Code Team --Late backup assignment once every ~14 shifts, 1800 – 2000 --Night shift starts at 1800 --Hospitalist RN Hub is open Monday – Friday from 0800 – 1900, staffed by 2 RNs via an overlapping schedule; they act as the Hospitalist call center --EMR is EPIC --Required: BC/BE Internal Medicine, SC license/DEA/CSR, clean background * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
