General Cardiologist - Western South Dakota
Opportunity Overview
Join a physician-led cardiovascular practice delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care. This role is ideal for a General Cardiologist seeking strong clinical support, excellent work–life balance, and high procedural volume in a growing regional program.
Clinical Practice
- Inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
- Echo (TTE/TEE), nuclear stress testing, and stress echo interpretation
- Advanced imaging (CT, MRI, PET/CT, vascular duplex) welcome but not required
- Strong hospitalist and intensivist support
- Dedicated read days
- Max clinic volume: 16 patients/day
Call & Schedule
- Shared call: 1:6, home call only
- In-house nocturnal APP support
- Inpatient rotation: 1:6 weeks (no clinic during inpatient weeks)
- Two-physician day-call model with robust APP coverage
Compensation & Benefits
- $613,000 guaranteed base salary (2 years)
