Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for locum coverage in Orange County. This is an ongoing opportunity from March through December, with 1–2 weeks per month of coverage.Open Dates (Friday 7a – Friday 7a):
February 16 – February 20, 2026
March 20 – March 27, 2026
March 27 – April 3, 2026
Future dates TBD Note: Must be able to work one of the March stints to be considered. Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday 7a – Monday 7a (1–2 weeks/month)
Shift: 7a–7a
Patient Contact Hours: 7a–5p
Inpatient procedures prioritized
If time allows: scopes in endo suite and/or clinic visits
Call: 24-hour pager call Scope of Practice
Inpatient rounds and consults
Procedures
Clinic and endoscopy suite coverage as volumes allow
ERCP and EUS experience is a plus Volumes
1–3 new consults per day
1–2 procedures per day
Outpatient clinic and scopes dependent on hospital volume Facility & Support
EMR: Epic
CRNA/MD on call 24/7
1 additional GI on staff
