About the Position
Medix is currently seeking a travel registered dietitian for an exciting travel assignment at one of our partnered healthcare facilities. As a travel dietitian with Medix, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients while enjoying the flexibility and adventure that comes with a contract role. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about their field and ready to hit the ground running within a dynamic clinical environment.--> Location: Colorado
--> Start Date: 02/26/2026
--> Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks (520 Hours)
--> Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
--> State License Needed: Colorado Registered Dietitian License Responsibilities
--> Clinical Assessment & Intervention
--> Nutritional Screening: Evaluate participant status using clinical data to identify risks and implement evidence-based interventions.
--> MNT & Education: Perform comprehensive assessments and provide nutritional counseling to participants and families.
--> IDT Communication: Relay critical nutritional data to the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure holistic care delivery. Operations & Oversight
--> Dining Coordination: Oversee meal service and kitchen facilities to maintain regulatory and quality standards.
--> Vendor Management: Collaborate with contracted meal services to ensure menu compliance and participant satisfaction.
--> Staff Leadership: Provide direct supervision, training, and guidance to the Dietary Aide.
--> Staff Education: Act as a subject matter expert by providing nutritional training to other healthcare professionals.
Skills
Requirements
--> Degree from an accredited college or university, majoring in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
--> Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) credentials and applicable state licensure.
--> Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
Preferred Skills
--> Previous clinical experience working with the elderly population.
