Details:
•  Location: Albany, NY
•  Credentialing: 2-4 weeks
•  Duration: March - ongoing, 6 months+
•  Schedule: Full-time, 4 weeks per month
•  Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-5p clinic + 1:5 rotating weeknight and weekend call
•  Call: 1:5 weeknights (4:30p-8:30a, mainly telephone only, unless there’s an urgent consult that cannot hold until morning.) 1:5 weekend 24-hr call (8:30a-8:30a)
•  Scope: Locum HemOnc both OP clinic and IP call - 40% Hematology 60% Oncology
•  Duties: OP for new patients, follow-up visits, treatment, chemotherapy. IP call, rounding in hospital.
•  Patient volume: average 15-20 PPD clinic (6 new patients/week)
•  EMR: Epic
•  Hospital: 171 total beds
•  Group/support: 3 Physicians, 3 APPs. PA on IP service as support M-F. Radiation Oncology group.
•  Credentialing: Quick! Temps in 2-4 weeks with clean NPDB
•  Require: Board Certified in Hematology Oncology, Active NYS License
