Facility in Lima, OH is looking for locum tenens coverage due to a physician retirement. This is a weekday-only outpatient opportunity across two well-established cancer centers with strong clinical support.

Position Details
Specialty: Radiation Oncology
Practice Setting: Outpatient & Free-Standing Cancer Centers
Coverage Dates: June 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Reason for Coverage: Physician retirement

Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No call (permanent providers handle call responsibilities)

Practice Environment
1 Radiation Oncologist currently in practice
1 APP providing support
Other Radiation Oncologists available during locum coverage
Average outpatient volume: 20 patients per day
Average inpatient volume: 1 patient per day
Trauma designation: Level II
Patient population: Adult

Documentation
EMR systems: Mosaiq and Epic

Required Procedures
Conventional Radiotherapy
3D Radiotherapy
MRT
External Beam Radiation – 3D-CRT
External Beam Radiation – IGRT
External Beam Radiation – IMRT
Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Required Duties
Order diagnostic tests
Order imaging
Prescribe medications and radiation treatment plans

Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days

Travel & Reimbursement
Facility reimburses for:
Flight, Hotel, Rental car

Submission Requirements
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology – required
Active Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain) – required
BLS certification – required
Self-query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation – required
