We are seeking a Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a thriving, well-established cardiology practice. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, high-quality cardiovascular program within a respected community hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in outpatient and inpatient settings
Perform cardiac-focused history and physical examinations
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions
Assist with diagnostic interpretation (e.g., EKGs, stress tests, cardiac imaging as appropriate)
Provide inpatient consult support in collaboration with Cardiologists
Coordinate care with hospitalists, intensivists, and referring providers
Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Skills

For Nurse Practitioners:
Master’s degree in Nursing
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Eligible for or holding Vermont NP licensure
For Physician Assistants:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA certification
Eligible for or holding Vermont PA licensure
For All Candidates:
Cardiology experience preferred
Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileges
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
