Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Sterling Heights, MI
Henry Ford Lakeside Surgery Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dedicated anesthesia team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality anesthesia care across diverse outpatient surgical procedures within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans tailored to each patient.
- Administer anesthesia using general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care techniques for patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics, and across various ASA classifications.
- Monitor patients continuously during surgical procedures, promptly managing any anesthesia-related complications to ensure safety and comfort.
- Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and patient recovery support.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the broader healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Flexibly travel to other ambulatory sites as required to support operational needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted CRNA certification.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NBCRNA.
- Previous experience in outpatient surgical settings is required; candidates with no prior experience are not eligible.
- Demonstrated proficiency in anesthesia administration and patient monitoring.
- Ability to work harmoniously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Candidates must not have lapses in certification or recent re-certification needs.
- No availability for locum, locum-to-perm positions, or candidates seeking alternative shifts.
- H1B and J1 visa sponsorship is available.
Practice Setting:
- Ambulatory Surgery Center with a wide variety of surgical cases including orthopedics (hips, knees), plastic surgery, sports medicine, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental procedures, pediatrics, endoscopy, and general surgery.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Highly competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary expectations may be submitted during the application process.
- Sign-on bonus of $40,000.
