Full Time Gastroenterologist Opportunity

• Employed by the hospital


• This is a replacement position


• Office currently has one seasoned GI, and 1 APP.  An additional APP is scheduled to start in April.  Need one more GI physician.


• Office is located in the medical building; attached to the hospital.  Endoscopy Unit and Surgery Dept in very close proximity.


• Schedule – can be discussed.  Anticipating apx 3 days in Endoscopy/1 to 1-1/2 days in the office.  Can discuss a 4-day work week.


• Using Athena EMR in the office, and Cerner in the hospital.


• Very light, shared call.

Requirements: 

• Considering new grads as well as experienced candidates with at least 5 years left to practice.


• BC and BE candidates considered.  Must become BC’d within 2-3 years after start date.


• Male or female.  MD or DO.  


• Not a VISA opportunity at this time.

• Two-year guaranteed base salaried in-line with MGMA median (can be discussed).


• To be included in physician compensation plan (i.e. wRVU allowing bonus potentials)
