Description ### About the Opportunity\nMedix is looking for a Certified Medical Examiner to perform DOT physicals for a specialized contract. This role is focused on regulatory compliance and determining medical fitness for duty for commercial drivers.\n\nLocation: Michigan\nFacility Type: Occupational Health\nStart Date: March 9, 2026\nLength of Assignment: Contract (2,080-Hour Expected Duration)\nSchedule: Monday-Friday: 7am-3pm\nState License Needed: Michigan\nPay: Personalized compensation packages, including competitive rates and applicable stipends, will be discussed in detail with your recruiter.\n\n### Responsibilities\n--> Conduct comprehensive DOT physicals (vision, hearing, BP, urinalysis).\n--> Interpret FMCSA medical standards to determine fitness for duty.\n--> Accurately complete Medical Examination Reports (MER) and Certificates (MEC).\n--> Upload results to the National Registry (NRCME).\n\n### Required Skills & Qualifications\n--> Active, unrestricted license as a PA or NP in Michigan.\n--> Current certification on the FMCSA National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.\n--> Deep understanding of 49 CFR 391.41. * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
