Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a board-certified/eligible pediatric general surgeon to join an established practice located near DOVER, GA. Join our team and contribute to the mission of providing exceptional pediatric surgical care.

Key Qualifications:

As a qualified candidate, you will:

• Board Certification: Be board certified/eligible in pediatric general surgery.


• License: Hold an active Georgia state license or have the ability to obtain one.


• Office Support: Work in an established office with mid-level support.


• Call Schedule: Maintain a 1:3 call schedule.


• Supervision: Provide supervision for general surgery residents.

Other Details:

• Facility: 622-bed, regional referral center.


• Trauma Center: Level I trauma center.


• NICU: Level III NICU.


• Specialized Care: Children's hospital.


• Accreditations: Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.


• Service Area: Serves 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina.


• Support Services: NurseOne and 24-hour call center.


• Technology: Utilize the EPIC EMR System.


• Academic Affiliation: Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine.


• Education: Dedicated to graduate medical education programs.
