Facility in York, PA seeking Vascular Surgery locums coverage


Rates: $150/hr

Opportunity Highlights
Start Date: ASAP (Targeting May 11, 2026).
Contract Length: Ongoing.
Schedule: 4 days per week.
Flexible shifts: Four 10-hour days (07:00–17:00) OR Five 8-hour shifts.
Setting: Inpatient/Hospital only (York Hospital).
Support: Collaboration with nursing staff, residents, and attending vascular surgeons.
EMR: EPIC.

Clinical Responsibilities
The PA will be responsible for managing a high-acuity vascular patient population, ensuring continuity of care from admission to discharge.
In-House Rounding: Managing approximately 20 patients per day.
Consultations: Performing vascular surgical consults throughout the hospital.
OR Support: If the provider possesses the requisite skill set, they will assist in the Operating Room.
Patient Population: 18 years and older (Adult/Geriatric).

Provider Requirements
Board Status: PA-C certification (Required).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Vascular Surgery or a surgical subspecialty.
Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State License in hand or willing to license (90-day window).
DEA: Required (must have or obtain a PA address for the DEA).
Documentation: * NPDB self-query (dated within 6 months) required at presentation.
Full 7-year work history or 10 previous assignments.
Full disclosure of all malpractice history.
