Join Our Team as a Clinical Laboratory (Laboratory) Director


Are you a seasoned Laboratory professional ready to lead and contribute in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Director to oversee laboratory operations, manage dedicated staff, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This role offers the opportunity to combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical duties, including Blood Bank expertise, in a supportive and growth-oriented setting.


What You’ll Bring:


  • Strong leadership and management skills to oversee a team of three full-time technologists and one PRN

  • Extensive experience as a Medical Technologist/MLS with solid knowledge of laboratory operations

  • Proven expertise in Blood Bank procedures and protocols

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask effectively and work collaboratively within a team



Ideal candidates will also have:


  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a clinical laboratory

  • Flexibility to adapt to varying work hours and rotating weekends on call

  • Certifications such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred



Preferred Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or related field

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, with a focus on Blood Bank

  • Prior management or leadership experience highly desirable



Additional Requirements:


  • Availability to work Mon-Fri, 7AM-3PM or 8AM-5PM, with flexibility required

  • Ability to handle laboratory emergencies and respond promptly to on-call situations

  • Valid laboratory technologist license and relevant certifications

  • Must pass background check and abide by all regulatory standards



This is a permanent position with a starting salary of $80,000 annually, and competitive hourly pay. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage, paid sick time, weekly pay via direct deposit, licensure/certification reimbursements, and a supportive team dedicated to your success.
