Emergency Medicine Physician

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, efficient, and compassionate emergency care to patients across all age groups.
- Perform thorough assessments, establish diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Document clinical evaluations and interventions accurately within medical records.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety procedures, and federal/state regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care processes.
Required Skills:
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in emergency medical procedures and diagnostic tools.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with trauma and critical care.
- Prior work in a Level I or Level II trauma center.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice or internship experience.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
- Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification renewals.
