Clinical Scope & Volume
The Neurologist will manage the inpatient consult service and respond to acute neurological emergencies, including "Code Stroke" protocols.
Daily Patient Volume: Average of 20 hospital-based patients.
Facility Setting: 533-bed hospital; Trauma Level II/III designation.
Diagnostic Support: Onsite Lab and X-Ray.
Required Procedures: * Thrombolytic Therapy: Evaluation and administration for acute ischemic stroke.
Lumbar Puncture: Diagnostic sampling of cerebrospinal fluid.

Provider Requirements
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology (Required).
Licensure: Active South Carolina (SC) Medical License and DEA in hand (Required).
Certifications: Active BLS (Required).
Background: 100% CLEAN BACKGROUND—no exceptions will be made for this site.
Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days of submission) must be provided at the time of presentation.
