Join Our Team as a Urology Physician – Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urology Physician to provide essential clinical and surgical services within a dynamic healthcare environment. Required Skills:
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Urology
- Proven expertise in urological diagnosis, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with outreach clinics or remote patient care
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active state medical license in Wisconsin
- At least 2 years of clinical Urology practice or relevant fellowship training
Other Requirements:
- System call responsibilities based out of Wausau, approximately 7-10 days per month, including one weekend
- Flexible scheduling with 36 hours per week, including clinic and operative procedures
- Potential outreach to Wisconsin Rapids 1-2 days monthly
- Willingness to discuss and adapt to scheduling needs during interview
- Willing to travel if necessary
- Certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar preferred
