Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Hot Springs, AR • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: Mar 31, 2026 – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible Schedule | TBD COVERAGE DATES • Mar 31, 2026 – Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics • Admissions: Yes • Case Mix: Emergency Medicine – mixed acuity cases FACILITY INFORMATION • Trauma Level: Level 2 • Support Staff Available: Emergency Department clinical support staff • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Endotracheal Intubation • Central Venous Line Placement • Chest Tube Placement JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active AR medical license • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BC preferred) • DEA: Active DEA Certification • Certifications: BLS, ACLS • Experience: Emergency Department clinical experience preferred • Other Qualifications: Academic Medical Center experience preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups • Perform necessary emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine • Coordinate care with consulting specialists and hospital staff • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the facility EMR * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
