Description JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: OB/GYN Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Fort Myers, FL • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 7p–7a; weekdays and/or weekends (weekends prioritized) COVERAGE DATES • Night shifts: 7p–7a • Weekday and weekend availability • Weekend coverage prioritized PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Obstetric and gynecologic patients; high-risk OB population • Admissions: Included • Rounding: Included • Case Mix: High-risk obstetrics; NICU Level III facility FACILITY INFORMATION • Office Equipment Available: TBD • Specialty Backup Available: NICU Level III • Support Staff Available: Physicians and APPs • Reason for Coverage: Ongoing need for night and weekend OB/GYN coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Not specified • Credentialing Timeline: 30 days • Additional Notes: High-risk OB experience required; NICA membership/receipt with $5,000 coverage required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered • Overtime Rate: Daily OT after 12 hours; weekly OT after 168 hours REQUIRED PROCEDURES • High-risk OB care • Inpatient obstetrics and gynecology procedures • Additional procedures not specified JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active FL license required • Board: Board Certification required • Certifications: BLS-AHA, PALS-AHA, NICA membership/receipt • Experience: Must be prepared for high-risk OB workload; NICU Level III experience preferred • Other Qualifications: No telehealth experience required; must meet submission requirements DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN coverage • Work 7p–7a night shifts on weekdays and/or weekends • Prioritize weekend night shift coverage based on facility needs • Manage high-risk obstetric cases in a Level III NICU environment • Collaborate with physicians and APPs for patient care SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS • Updated and current CV • NPDB report within the last 3 months • Case logs: 24 inpatient records from past 12 months (primary source only; not personal logs; noting patient age preferred) • Board Certification and active FL license • NICA membership/receipt with $5,000 coverage * Some information such as the email and phone number are hidden unless you are registered and logged-in
