  • Specialty:
        
    • Emergency Medicine   
    • Will take ABEM, ABIM, or ABFM with at least 2 years of ER experience 
      
  • Coverage Needs:
        
    • Need ASAP - Ongoing  
    • Looking for days and nights 
      
  • Shifts: 
        
    • 6a-6p OR 6p-6a
      
  • Setting: 
        
    • Stand-alone emergency hospital  
    • Handles minor to moderate trauma   
    • Transfers sent to Shreveport   
    • Must be comfortable stabilizing and transferring
      
  • Census:
        
    • 9 ED beds + 6 short-stay inpatient beds   
    • 20.5k annual volume  
    • Average 57 patients per day 
      
  • Support Staff: 
        
    • NPPA coverage: 10a-10p daily
      
  • Procedures: 
        
    • All Standard ER procedures 
      
  • EMR: 
        
    • EPIC 
      
  • Board Certification: 
        
    • Board Certified Required 
      
  • Travel: 
        
    • Hospital will cover.
      
  • Credentialing timeline:
        
    • Expedited Onboarding hoping for ASAP start 
      
  • Requirements:
        
    • Active LA state license or IMLC  
    • Active DEA and CDS in LA or willing to transfer   
    • ATLS, ACLS
